New Managing Director of Australian Hearing
Minister for Human Services, Senator Joe Ludwig, today congratulated Steven Grundy on his appointment as Managing Director of Australian Hearing.
“I am delighted with the appointment of such a high calibre executive who will provide excellent leadership skills to help the organisation move forward,” Senator Ludwig said.
“Steven has an impressive track record and I am confident that under his direction Australian Hearing will enhance its position as one of Australia’s leading healthcare organisations.”
“Steven succeeds outgoing Managing Director, Anthea Green, who led Australian Hearing through an era of growth.”
“The Rudd Government will continue to invest in support and services for the hearing impaired and Steven is well equipped to maintain Australian Hearing’s high standards of service in the coming years.”
Steven joined Australian Hearing in July 2007 as Chief Operating Officer.
He began his career in the Royal Australian Navy, a highlight of which was his role as Commanding Officer of HMAS Rushcutter for two years.
He left the Navy in 1999 to take up a management role with Telstra.
