Minister officially opens new Centrelink office in Rockingham
Minister for Human Services, Chris Bowen MP, today officially opened the new Centrelink Customer Service Centre in Rockingham.
“I am proud to be here in Rockingham to open this new office, which has been purpose-built to suit the needs of Centrelink customers including families, seniors, students and jobseekers,” Mr Bowen said.
The office has new self service facilities and support materials to make accessing Centrelink payments and services easier for Rockingham and Kwinana residents.
It also includes the latest design reception points and a dedicated waiting area for seniors and carers to provide them with greater privacy and comfort.
“The Centrelink Customer Service Centre is a great outcome for Rockingham and Kwinana residents and is conveniently located in Rockingham’s main business area, with ample car parking and street access,” Mr Gray said.
